First off let me say, I love the pics of the pups! Esp Dakota's look alike relative! Great pics. Next time I head to Calif. to visit my son I will see if he will take me into the desert. I have never been able to experience that. It has a beauty all its own. Like here in TN we have beautiful mountains, all green and there, it is more dust but so beautiful. Thanks you for sharing.
The desert is a place like no other....dust and all. I highly recommend a trip to the dry, dusty, lonely desert. My dogs love it there!
spectacular! what a lovely family with your 3 happy pups xo
Couldn't ask for a better family!xx
INDIAN SUMMER!!!Blankets and dogs lying about. Extraordinary cactus, rings of Anasazi doughnuts. (Could those be "beads?") Smiles. More smiles.💚 Big Love!! And I am breathing in the peace.
Not quite summer yet....it snowed the first night we were there! And I wonder, when I am collecting those sandstone "beads", if the Anasazi were as obsessed with them as I am!Snow, sandstone beads, dogs everywhere....it's all good. :)
Beautiful photos! I've never seen anything like those rings. Great flower shots and love the lizard!!
Lizard says hi! The rings are sandstone with a high iron content. They stay in those "donut" shapes when they weather out of the side of the mesa.
What a lovely trip! Everyone looks like they are having fun. Great pictures of the pups. They photograph so well. Utah is soo beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
I know I say it all the time, but Utah is the most beautiful place on earth. And those pups....you would not believe the work that goes into getting them to sit still for 1/500 of a second! Most photos, they're jumping, barking, and acting up in a million different ways!
Beautiful. I so want to explore Utah one day. You're pictures keep me hooked. :)xx
Word of warning: you will fall in love with Utah. Guaranteed.xx
perfect photos. especially those pooches. and your smiling face. and the little metal rings on the post. really, ALL of it, PERFECT. xx
It WAS perfect. All of it.xx
Fantastic photos as always, Julie. I felt such a sense of peace looking at them. The five of you are a beautiful family!! : ) xo~ Wendy
Honestly, I believe I leave a little more of my soul up there every time we go. And our little Lucky, she made this family complete!xx
Gorgeous blooms and such a lovely open sky
That sky really is something special. Glad you noticed it too.
This set of photos are divine. You've captured the holiness of the land, truly. And I love seeing the whole family together!
