  1. First off let me say, I love the pics of the pups! Esp Dakota's look alike relative! Great pics. Next time I head to Calif. to visit my son I will see if he will take me into the desert. I have never been able to experience that. It has a beauty all its own. Like here in TN we have beautiful mountains, all green and there, it is more dust but so beautiful. Thanks you for sharing.

    1. The desert is a place like no other....dust and all. I highly recommend a trip to the dry, dusty, lonely desert. My dogs love it there!

  3. INDIAN SUMMER!!!
Blankets and dogs lying about. Extraordinary cactus, rings of Anasazi doughnuts. (Could those be "beads?") Smiles. More smiles.
💚 Big Love!! And I am breathing in the peace.

    1. Not quite summer yet....it snowed the first night we were there! And I wonder, when I am collecting those sandstone "beads", if the Anasazi were as obsessed with them as I am!
Snow, sandstone beads, dogs everywhere....it's all good. :)

    1. Lizard says hi!
The rings are sandstone with a high iron content. They stay in those "donut" shapes when they weather out of the side of the mesa.

    1. I know I say it all the time, but Utah is the most beautiful place on earth.
And those pups....you would not believe the work that goes into getting them to sit still for 1/500 of a second! Most photos, they're jumping, barking, and acting up in a million different ways!

    1. Honestly, I believe I leave a little more of my soul up there every time we go. And our little Lucky, she made this family complete!
