rainy day

My favorite kind of day.

A pot of chili on the stove. Downton Abbey marathon on tv. Dogs to curl up with. (Well, the dogs will eventually take over the couch but that's another story.)

  2. I love a glimpse of your curiosities - a woman after my own heart. The doggies… awe!
If you have Acorn tv - Jericho was great.

    1. If there's one thing the sage clan is guilty of, it's bringing home way too many curiosities. We're running out of room to house all our treasures!
I don't have Acorn tv but I did look up Jericho....sounds like a great show!

  4. You just need a bigger couch that's all!
Oh how agonizing it must be for those Rez dogs, staring out the window on a rainy day. (Can we go out now? When??)
I knowYOU loved it though. Your lovely drizzly day sounds perfect.
Actually, it is not much different than a winter day at our homestead. Only, make that a John Wayne movie marathon! Hehe.;)
    Good seein' ya, Sagey! .

    1. Oh, the dogs would definitely agree that we need a bigger couch! And Lucky....she decided to go out and run laps in the yard....in the mud!
The John Wayne marathon sounds awesome! Save me some popcorn!

Love your things. You sound like us. We need a bigger house to accommodate all the stuff. I'm running out of wall space!
Your photos are lovely works of art. So glad you share:-)

    1. You aren't the only one who needs more space for all the found treasures! I keep telling myself to stop bringing home so much stuff....but I just can't seem to do it!

  7. The perfect kind of day in my book. We had some snow yesterday and a fire in the fireplace. That's perfection for me, too. I love that Lucky was doing laps in the mud!!!! : ) xoxo

    1. Our little black and white is a rez dog from northern NM. The vet thinks she may have some Australian Shepherd and beyond that, it's anyone's guess! She's a sweet little thing.
