one more day

It's what I always say. Just one more day.
One more day to wander, to lose myself, to believe I will always return.
One more day to spend on the back of the glorious earth, its mesas and canyons spread before me like secrets only I know.

Tomorrow they're predicting rain but I'll spend that last day out here anyway.

  3. I love this post. Especially that very first picture.
Well, the fact that you're sitting on a Mexican blanket, in the high desert, on some dirt & writing down the bones.
I hope the next day you got soaked! :)

    1. It doesn't get any better than sitting on a mexican blanket, in the dirt, on the end of the mesa.
And yes, we DID get wet the next day!

  5. I think it's wonderful that you just love where you live. I do too and never take it for granted.
Your 'babies' are very sweet - I love the booties. I tried putting them on my dog awhile ago, but she wouldn't have any part of them.
