I love these photos of you in your element with your wonderful dogs, a flicker of joy present in each one. you have also moved me a notch closer to accepting that fall is upon us-- certainly a glorious season once one releases her grip on those precious light-filled days of warmth and leisure... ahem

    I can tell that your senses have burst wide open at this new season. It's a vibrant, energetic time with so much promise.

    1. I literally watch for the first changing leaf, the first sign of shorter days. I love fall....it makes me feel so alive! (Must be the cooler weather.) And yes, I do love the scrub oak. They have so much character. I find myself talking to them in the forest! : )

    I too love the change of seasons, but can't make up my mind on which one l like the best.
    Of course here we're welcoming Spring, and the other night we had the windows and doors open until well into the night for the first time since before Winter. Now that, l love.

    1. We have finally been able to open the windows here....no more hiding from the brutal heat and sun!! Yes, fall is my favorite season, hands down!

  9. I put my autumn wreath on the front door yesterday. My favorite time of the year!! Shorter days and cooler nights are setting in and I couldn't be any happier!! Have a beautiful weekend!! Love the last photo of the tree, btw. So beautiful. xoxo
