the most popular place in the yard

These days, the butterfly bush is the place to bee, or even to butterfly.

Linking up with Laura at Shine the Divine for I Heart macro week 58.

    1. Sometimes the most beauty does lie in the smallest things. The butterfly bush is blooming like crazy, bees buzz the hollyhocks all day long, and often you can find me wandering the yard with my camera! xoxo

  3. Absolutely beautiful photos!! We've been picking up plants here and there for our new and improved garden. : ) I told Jim I wanted to include a butterfly bush. We're going to be visiting the nursery again tomorrow and I'm going to hopefully be able to find one. Purple is such a beautiful color!!! Really pops!!! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!! xoxo

    1. The butterfly bush seems to have a life of its own, standing at seven feet high and slowly taking over a portion of the yard. I don't have the heart to cut it back....the blossoms are so amazing! I could just watch the insect life around the bush all day, if it weren't 101 degrees in the shade!! xoxo
