Such a great photo!! My dog would've eaten that poor little grasshopper as soon as he laid eyes on him. All you have to do is say the word "bug" and he starts looking all over the house for a bug to eat. Comes in handy when the big, old house flies get in thru an open door. YUCK!!! : ) xoxo
: ) Pinto usually bites the grasshoppers in half! She loves hunting them in the yard, but for some reason she spared this little guy. Durango, on the other hand, is terrified of bugs! xx
"I could care less.", he said. Cute pic!
Lizards are far more exciting than grasshoppers these days. ;)
Such a cute shot, but that grasshopper is sure living life dangerously ;) Looks like it is already missing one antennae? Do you get a lot of grasshoppers there in New Mexico? As always thanks for linking up. xx
We are in the midst of a real grasshopper plague out here....they are bouncing off everything! Pinto is obviously not doing her job.... ;)
It looks like the grasshopper has the element of surprise! Great angle and great shot.
A true dog/bug moment here!
What a great photo! We have chickens so bugs don't last long in our Australian backyard!
Thanks, Gina. Pinto usually hunts these guys, but I seem to have caught her sleeping on the job!
