elk crossing

Early morning elk....about a hundred of them, calling to each other and thundering across the fields.

Linking up with Chrisy down under at living a good north coast life and sharing a little of the natural world around us.

    3. Loving the linkup! And I have been wondering....do you have elk in Australia?

    4. Nope no elk in Australia :)
I don't think we have any native hard hooved animals, so no deer, elk, horses etc.
There are deer in some parts, but they are introduced and seen as a pest. Their hard hooves do a lot of damage to some of our more fragile environments.
It's all really interesting isn't it? Love to explore the similarities and differences.
