reconnect with nature....sage smudge bundles

Wildcrafted sage bundles.
Smelling like....
summer
sun
earth
sky
arrowheads
potshards
solitude
mesas
mountains.
Linking up with Chrisy down under at living a good north coast life and sharing a little of the natural world around us.

  1. Birkenstocks and sage.
You are a bundle of sweetness!
Nothing better than the scent of N.M. sage. Nothing.
It looks super fresh and healthy. :)

    1. Yeah, I guess I'm a Birkenstock girl. I've had that pair 14 years!
The house is filled with the scent of drying sage....it's awesome!
Close your eyes and breathe in, smell it?

  2. I really enjoy the smell of sage burning in a fireplace or fire pit. I know there are lots of native tales about the benefits of using sage smudge in your home. I once used in a work place environment in need of some purging - I know it worked.

    1. It does work! I smudge my house from time to time, and someone once told me when I do smudge, I should leave a window or door cracked open....and all the bad stuff will leave through the crack!

    1. The open window really makes sense, doesn't it? Glad I could pass that tip on!

  6. Got to admit l know very little about smudge sticks or bundles, l've seen them around before but have never seen them in action. I'm guessing you burn them?
What l do know, is how much you love sage and the country where you find it. To be able to bring a part of that countryside into your house is wonderful. All the memories and feelings it must generate is wonderful. What a great way to bring balance into your life :)

    1. Burning sage cleanses the area....it's a native american thing that has become a pretty standard practice here. And yes, I do love the smell of sage. It reminds me of all the good things in life!

    1. Thanks, Deb. I don't know if sage grows where you live, but there is so much of it out here. I could not resist making a few bundles!
