february days

 Reading....the master, Mr. Paulo Coehlo.

Repairing....four crazy quilt chair cushions I made 15 years ago. (Our butts had worn the embroidery thread off.)
Sealing....tent seams. Summer's coming and my mountain is calling.

 Loving....these two guys.

Wandering....the west mesa. Searching for the secrets of the universe or at least a good owl pellet.

Keeping my mind off the fact that we've had no precipitation in nearly 20 days, not that I'm counting.   ;)

  1. Durango certainly looks like he's already in the camping spirit!
And I'm always up for a good book recommendation.
Hope your weekend has been treating you beautifully.

    1. Glad you enjoyed the shots of everyday life around here. I just love my chair cushions, can't bear to part with them, even after 15 years! I just keep repairing them....

  4. Your spirit sounds uplifted and excited for things to come.
Priming the tent is always a good sign!
You're a fine seamstress. I like that old fashioned material on the cushions.
That last image makes me smile. Juicy desert color.
Now, get out on that Mesa! There are gifts from nature to be found!
Love this happy post, Sagey. x

    1. Oh yeah! Knew you'd love the cactus shot!
Spring is coming, we've made reservations for mid-March in our little Colorado town, (too cold to camp right now), and the cushions are repaired one more time! Live is good, sister! xoxo
