Oh, just lovely. Where in NM are you? We visit Santa Fe often.http://www.pocoleon.com/this-moment/this-moment-55/
We're in Albuquerque, but do most of our hiking north of town. I admit I do enjoy the desolate nature of the mesas!
This moment evokes some lovely feelings, and desires.Thank you~
Thank you, Natalie! It was a day for introspection, walking on the mesa, and communing with nature.
Neat photo. I thought of you over the last few days as we are experiencing frost quakes - which happen as the area we live it has a close to the surface water table as because of the prolonged bitter cold, this water table freezes & cracks creating quakes. The noise of the cracking is like thunder & if you are outside where it happens, you do feel a shudder. Freaky nature thing & I thought would it not be neat to share this with someone who appreciates the coolness of nature. (no pun intended about nature & cool because it is frigid !!!!)
Wow, that is a freaky nature thing! Almost....like the earth is speaking to you! I love how differently nature presents itself to us when we are in touch and able to see/hear what it is saying. Thanks for sharing that and teaching me a little about your area!
Crikey Mary Lou !! I've never heard of that sort of thing before. I guess that's what you call COLD huh?
I love feathers. Very nice!
Thanks, Robin. I love feathers too, always happy when I find them!
A lovely photo Julie - a really thoughtful moment xx
It was just that kind of day....still, thoughtful, silent. One of the many moods of the mesa! xx
Lonely whisp of a feather on a grey sort of day.Hey Sagey, I like your mitts.
My thoughts exactly. I love all kinds of weather....especially the rare cloudy days. It makes things feel....different. It was mitt weather! xo
You've captured a beautiful moment.
Thank you, Susan!
