happy holidays from the west mesa

A quiet morning. No wind. Nothing but nature all around me.
Wandering the west mesa, thinking....that at this moment, on this hill, I found what I was looking for. Hope your holidays are the same.

Wishing you peaceful days.

  1. Gosh such beautiful images Julie, they’re like pieces of art. I can imagine the last three in particular hanging in an art gallery. Apart from sharing them with us here on the blog, what else do you do with your photos?

    1. Geez, Chrisy, thanks! You make me blush. I have my photos on Flickr and the walls of our house are covered with pictures of our adventures and portraits of the dogs. I'm just happy wandering in the wild, shooting, (a camera, of course), and blogging. :)

  2. I really like that close up of the question mark plant (bunny tail weed or is it wild wheat?). Glad to hear that you found what you were looking for, that is always important as we move forward into a new year. Sending warm peaceful wishes.

PS - I will stop trying to send you more snow, it seems to bound back to me and we have had enough! ;)

    1. Reverse psychology, Mary Lou. Keep telling yourself you WANT the snow. That way it will end up in my part of the world. ;)

I believe the plant in question is grama grass. It grows all over the mesa....looks beautiful in the sun. (Even better in the snow!)
