gone

That snow, that brief, beautiful snow....gone.
I'm missing the mittens and the cocoa.
The frosty mornings, the cold, clear air.
Anyone getting snow....send it my way!      :)

  1. Our light fluffy snow has turned into ingredients to make a snowman. If we had a little more I'd be out there rolling. Soon, I'm sure. I'll blow a few clouds your way!

  2. Sorry nothing on the ground (yet), but weather, as we all know, changes in a moment. Already there are those bemoaning that they cannot get into the Christmas SPIRIT without snow. With or without snow I am in the Christmas spirit. Via a virtual snow globe I am sending you snowy white fluffy thoughts ;)

Ha.......try living in the sub tropics of Australia !! :)
My Mum always struggled this time of year. After living in England, Canada and the USA...she was used to white Christmases. She NEVER got used to having Christmas in the heat with a million flies around.......

    3. Yes, Chrisy....Christmas and snow go together! I cannot get into the Christmas spirit without snow, but then I grew up in Wisconsin, USA, where winter was almost a way of life!

  3. You're not going to like this::
All I see right now is a million white flakes swirling around, the trees and ground are blanketed with thick snow, and the forecast is calling for more of the same for one solid week. Yep. Constantly. Snow.
But, along with that stuff you love, are temperatures in single digits for the "highs" and 18 below zero and other such crazy numbers follow for the remainder of the week.
Pretty tough to enjoy such frozen beauty when it's so cold it takes your breath away.
But, you're more than welcome to come on up and take it with you when you go!! Heehee.
I think your picture is lovely. ;)

    1. You've got the weather alright.....I remember those snowstorms well from our days in Wheatland and Gillette! (Yes, I survived a Gillette winter.)

Stay warm and think happy, sunny thoughts, prairiegirl.

Knew you'd like the photo. ;)
