I set out a jar of sun tea and the hardworking husband attacks the stump. Durango assumes a supervisory position. The stump and the heat of the day were tough, but the husband was tougher.
After a morning of digging, we break for an awesome backyard picnic of black bean and brown rice quesadillas. (What dog does not love a picnic?) We linger in the shade over sun tea with honey and ginseng, and the guys return to the project at hand. Once the stump is out, the hole is filled and the surface seeded. Not at all like our usual adventures, but a necessary job, and a job well done.
